We are a diverse group of residents who live directly adjacent to the park. If you live on Gore Vale Avenue and have yet to join our group, we invite you to email us and introduce yourself.
We don’t just visit the park. We live with it every day. When it is truly a park… living beside it is great. When it is a massive loud disruptive party… it’s pretty awful.
We want positive change to happen. Actually we need it to happen. It’s long overdue.
Our short term goal is enforcement of laws and bylaws in Trinity Bellwoods Park that has for too long been an Anything Goes Zone.
We have a long term vision too, but it’s early days for our group so we have few specifics. In general though we want the park to be a park again. We want it to be safe, inclusive and accessible. And we want the natural environment – now degraded – to be better cared for and enhanced.
